Keeping our community safe
We at Humpty Dumpty have worked hard since the outbreak of Covid-19 to make sure children could attend our preschool putting everybody's health at the top of our priorities.
Our staff has been extremely careful implementing our health protocol and hygiene measures. Moreover we had full support and cooperation from our families attending Humpty Dumpty.
Since the pandemic is over but we are still not sure about what the future might bring we have decided to keep a core set of infectious disease prevention strategies as part of everyday operations. Additional disease prevention strategies may be needed if there is another Covid-19 outbreak or another type of infectuous disease outbreak.
Please read below to have an outline of our health school protocol and safety measures, so that you are well informed.
SAFETY GUIDELINES AND PRACTICES
~ Students will have their temperatures taken on arrival. Any student with a temperature of 37.5 will be sent home. They will also have to either sanitize or wash their hands upon arrival.
~ Students who develop a temperature during the school day will be isolated with one caregiver until collected by parent/nanny.

~ Teachers and staff will encourage frequent handwashing (when arriving at school, before meals and snack time, and before/after deliberately sharing teaching materials (art supplies, books, etc)) and will demonstrate proper handwashing techniques. Teachers will be provided with hand sanitizer to be used in case children cannot wash their hands.
