Parents are integral part of Humpty Dumpty community. We cannot exist without parents' involvement and support. We all work together every day for the progress of the children and our broader community.

 

We communicate with parents (grandparents, guardians) in a variety of ways, however the primary source of regular communication is our WhatsApp group and our newsletter.

WEEKLY NEWS AND NEWSLETTER

We always like to update parents on their children progress and well-being.

Our School Director sends an email/newsletter with any important administrative details and updates to all parents whose children are attending Humpty Dumpty.

​

In addition to our newsletter, at the end of each week our Director send anecdotes and photo highlights of the week.

If you'd like to know more about your child/ren daily activity, you are welcome to approach any of our teachers or assistants and ask either in person or via e-mail or WhatsApp and they will be more than happy to tell you more about your child's day.

HD OPEN DAY

Our Open Day is a warm invitation to see learning through your child's eyes. During this special event, you will step behind the scenes to experience the stimulating, joyful activities your child engages with every day. It is an opportunity you won't want to miss, and the perfect chance to get to know our wonderful team of teachers.

At Humpty Dumpty, our unique approach beautifully weaves together three world-class educational philosophies:

PARENTS TOOLBOX HD OPEN DAY

Once a year, we host our Parents’ Toolbox Conferences. These sessions are designed to help parents build a personalized "toolbox" of practical ideas, evidence-based strategies, and hands-on techniques to interact effectively with their children.

Our goal is to provide insightful guidance on essential parenting topics, such as navigating tantrums, understanding developmental stages, and recognizing early learning patterns.

These conferences offer a wonderful opportunity to experience what a typical school day looks like for your child, forge stronger partnerships with teachers, and gain deeper insights into your child's growth.

By participating, you actively build a bridge between home and school, showing your child just how much you care about their learning journey.

• Save the Date: For the 2026–2027 school year, our upcoming Parents’ Toolbox Conference will take place on November 14th, 2026.

​PARENT-TEACHER MEETINGS

Twice a year, towards the end of each term, we schedule our Parent-Teacher Meetings. The first-term meeting establishes a valuable baseline of your child's early development, while the second-term meeting highlights the wonderful progress they have made throughout the year. The school report serves as a meaningful guide, allowing parents and teachers to come together, review achievements, explore interests, and see where each child is thriving. Because early education is a true team effort, these meetings offer an excellent touchbase to ensure we are all aligned in supporting your child.

• Scheduling: Parent-Teacher Meetings are typically held in mid-November and mid-May. Please consult our official school calendar for exact dates and slot sign-ups.

FRIENDSHIP PICNIC DAY

Friendship Picnic Day

Our Friendship Picnic is a wonderful opportunity to meet other families, share delicious food, and have fun together! Hosted right here at Humpty Dumpty, the success of this event relies on the beautiful diversity of our community. We kindly invite all parents to contribute in any way they can: you can bring a favorite dish from your home country, dress yourself and your child in traditional attire, or share a traditional song or dance. Remember, this is a special chance for parents to perform and bring joy to their children, rather than the other way around! We look forward to celebrating our vibrant community with you.

For the school year 2026-2027 the Friendship Pic-nic Day is scheduled on October 17th.

CHILDREN SHOWS AND ART AUCTION

At the end of each term you will have the amazing chance to see your child perform during our Christmas and End of the Year Shows. They are usually scheduled mid-Dec and mid-June of a given school year. Please check the school calendar for the exact date.

Each year we have an art auction. You will be able to see collaborative pieces made by your children. Their masterpieces will be sold at the auction. This event for parents raises money for designated charity organizations or to support people in need. Parents will be informed which organization we are supporting each year. 

For the school year 2026-27 our Art Auction is scheduled on April 17th, 2027.
